Once the party hats came out the dogs knew the fun was about to begin. Contrary to what people think, the dogs actually do sit, lay and pose for pictures when they see the camera come out.

With two dogs and one rabbit already in the house it was challenging to bring in the new guy. The dogs wanted to know what was in the box and the first rabbit was removed from the cage. He had previously lived with two other rabbits but they died of old age a few years ago. It was time for the lonely rabbit to get a new friend. Plus, the dogs take care of the rabbits like they are children. When I arrived home with the new furry floppy-eared friend all the four-legged animals were curious to check him out.

Despite Basil staring him down from the outside of the cage, the little rabbit was in no danger. Actually, Basil is largely afraid of the rabbits since they move quickly. It is very difficult for him to pose with the rabbits when we do photos.
